Input needed

For those of you who use baby slings..which ones are your favorites? The place we're registering doesn't really carry them, so I'll probably be buying one or two on my own.

So, maya, moby, mei tai, hot slings, etc..which worked for you and which didn't?

Also, if you cloth diaper..where do you buy yours? I don't mind investing some money in them but want to get a good deal. So far I've only really looked at Green Mountain Diapers. I'm a bit clueless as to how much/what sizes to order. The baby will be in disposables some of the time, when he/she goes to grandparents or to my sil's a day or two a week while I work. But at home, we're going to try to stick with cd-ing.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Baby slings never really worked for me, and I really wanted them to. But I have a chronic pain condition that makes it too difficult for me to carry baby in that way. I hope it works for you though.

There are some great deals on cloth diapers on Ebay.

I also have some I am trying to sell if you are interested.

I am a mei tai girl myself. I also used a Maya Wrap with much success. My Hot Sling was very disappointing and not one I'd recommend. Sean used a Snugli while taking Sarah for walks and one of the sturdy backpack carriers from a sporting goods store for hiking.

If you might be interested in a size XL Maya Wrap, let me know. it's the boring natural color one. Should we have another baby, this size would no longer work for me, but if it might work for you, I'd be happy to pass it along! Email me if you're interested. :o) clotheslinealleyATgmail(dot)com

For cloth diapers, I purchased mine from Cloth Diapers 'N More. We used chinese prefolds, Snappis, and PUL covers. With the prefolds, I purchased the Premium size and used them from the time Peapod was a newborn until she weighed twenty two pounds. When she was a wee little one, we just folded them down more and readjusted as she grew. Once she hit the twenty two pound mark, the Toddler prefolds were purchased and that was what she used until potty training.

LOL, I love how I used Sarah's real name and fake name during the same comment. I'm losing my mind! ;o) I shall just call her "the child to whom I have birth"
